Between 2004 and 2010 I ran a non-governmental project to create non-formal learning experiences for young people, based in Damascus, Syria. This blog sets out some of my thoughts about the project, Syria, being away from home in London, and other stuff.
A great time to visit as the place is largely deserted except for people (still) selling camel rides, postcards, jewellery and T-shirts. Once past them, it's a lovely atmospheric wander.Labels: Syria
