Between 2004 and 2010 I ran a non-governmental project to create non-formal learning experiences for young people, based in Damascus, Syria. This blog sets out some of my thoughts about the project, Syria, being away from home in London, and other stuff.
There's a new Environmental Garden, not big or exotic but a nice interesting open public space, just beside the Citadel in the Old City. The Barada river runs alongside. This shot is taken from the very enjoyable cafe in the garden, where they serve fresh mulberry juice.Labels: Syria
